One Such As You

As your hair unfurls
like the peacock full in plume
your eyes begin to close
your no longer in the room
consciousness at rest…
while I take the time to view
the wonder and the beauty
of one such as you

Your lips through which your breathing
bring imagery to the mind
of sweet intoxication
that we share from time to time

Your aroma drives me crazy
like potions made for love
can’t bear to be without it
like some mind controlling drug

the essence of your aura
it blends with what is mine
two united people
made one that tests the time

the moment you awake
I will be the one you see
quietly giving thanks....
for the life youv'e made for me

this poem is beautiful and whoever you wrote it for is one lucky lady!

Have you thought of ever having your works published, you should look into it.
