"Forgotten Love": New Poem

Once of a time
In a place long forgotten
A silent announcement
Of love was declared

It was deafening to those
Who’s lives were made better
But fell short of those
Whom mattered the most

Words can change lives
But actions speak louder
With our tongue we make sense
Of a true love divide

Why is it we seek
Those willing to listen
But don’t talk to the one
We profess to adore

Is there a plan
Of predestination
Believing in fate
Are we praying for more

A silent protest
For all to be forgiven
A silent conquest
At the conscious request

To show that the love
Will never be forgotten
To pay attention to details
Of our love found once more

New Poem; "A Road To No-Where"

Life is a road …
that leads us to no where
An unstoppable ride
That destiny calls
The places speed by
Without hesitation
The lines near the sides
forgotten souls or unknown

The picture is bleary
Distorted truth lies
Of a world without order
One close to demise
The light barely bending
A vision unfeeling
Like a sense of denial
From the warmth of the ride

But where does it end
Our life’s glance existence
The road running out
There’s no reason to dread
Push back the boundaries
That keep our minds poisoned
From the truth of our purpose
We don’t see for the ground

Just one passing story
That leads to no questions
The answers they leave us
For the sake of our life

"The Swing"- read by GB

"Our Conscious Mind Abode 2" - revised

"Our Conscious Mind Abode"

" Musical Solitude" - Narrated By Rhona-Jane

"Musical Solitude"

Have you ever closed your eyes
And listened to the music
The chorus line of life
constantly playing out of tune

An orchestrating moment
Plays freely in the distance
As our personal private theme
Of a daily catastrophe

No strings, no brass
Just a jumble of notes protruding
Through the cracks in our decisions
Ones that predetermine lines

Lines that we follow
In the hope they know direction
But the way is becoming frayed
Through the wear of use and time

Left to take our chances
We reach out for hands to hold
While altogether praying
No one touches back at all

"The Swing"

Heart beating fast as
I shine in the mid-day sun
the brightness fills my eyes
making it hard to capture the line
the firm velvet grass
sits beneath my feet
as a reach down to place my pride
as I stand square
my pride at stake
the line still a mystery waiting to be solved

I take a deep breath
my muscles seem to freeze
as I make it through the first turn
pain rips through my ligaments
I am hampered by the rush of heat
unbearable though it is
I make the break and descend
to a head on collision

like a cannon it roars
barely keeping my grip on the weapon of choice
I stumble but regain my stance
now it is up to luck
the guidance is chance

Blind to the line
and hungry for satisfaction
I race to edge staring into the light
the faintest shadow begins to descend
velocity loses to the wind

There in the distance
a white satisfaction
laying as if all had been gentle
without a hint of distress
I walk to its place in the long grass
and the fight begins once more
but no regrets

illusion

What makes a conscience wonder
What makes you differ from me
A question I can’t answer
Because we’re not entirely free

Illusion swallows justice
We pretend to know the plan
Because we do not ask the questions
behind the delusion

To figure out the tide
Of popular demand
We risk our own existence
In hope others understand
For without the word objection
We would be the lost unfound
Transparent in the army
Of the ever growing crowd

But we seek and others follow
The truth is laid to bare
With open eyes to see it
There is no reason to be scared
Just Free your mind of opinion
Emancipate your mind
The truth will become clearer
And what you seek
you will find
